just got this tasty hardback book to coincide with the film re-release. the book is due out on 16 October here in England. maybe it's already out in the States??

anyroad, there's a few wondrous pics of cherie therein. one colour shot is her looking sullen onstage (which she does VERY well indeed) with her band The Dose, wearing a tight blue bodysuit with big black buckle, fishnets on ONE leg and knee-high boots. her hair is long and wavy. t'other pic is more close-up with cherie sporting this big pussy cold sore on her lower lip...nice!...

i'm sorry to inform you that there are no Vicki Blue pics therein which is a shitty pity since she looks so alluring in the film, doncha agree dearie??

BUT, for all you Miss Blue fans and freaks, she is pictured alongside Missy Jett in this Sniffin' Glue book anthology: a large softback book by Mike Perry, who also edited the Sniffin' glue fanzine in the 70s. In the full-page b/w pic, vicki is grinning insanely while joanie is GRINDING this potted tropical plant between her legs. the byline reads: 'Joan Jett in hopeful mood'. well, yes, indeed!

Just got a chance to see the "Companion Book" today for the first time. Yes, two nice color pages of Cherie that were omitted from the film, but the film has several nice scenes of Vicki that were omitted from the book!
Rats, wish they had included all the great performance Cherie footage in the new version!
Frustration abounds....
